Conductorsblog back at work!
April 6, 2010
So it’s been, what, a month? Yeah, about that. We at the Conductorsblog have been very busy with a very busy spring of conducting. But, we are now back in full force and will be updating again regularly.
Lots of ideas, lots of fun things to discuss. But today for today, a video.
Can I say that this is good teaching?
. . .
. . .
um. . . .
. . .
probably not?
. . .
But . . seriously . . . dude, that would have been WAY fun.

Something makes me think that the kid was in on that….and it wasn’t actually his violin that was smashed.
Regardless, it was a good watch. Much more interesting than the psyc lecture I am sitting in right now….
Lisa,
Without a doubt, the kid was in on it. He seemed WAY too happy about the whole experience.
That being said, I cannot (publicly) condone reading the Conductorsblog during other classes. Even if I am thrilled you are doing so.
I presume the orchestra members will remember this for a long time but for those who have had to deal with a violent temperament in a conductor it sustains the nightmare.
I think I agree with you Wayne. It does seem over the line to actually do this in a class, even if it was a prank.
