Kempe’s Dvorak

August 27, 2012

A fellow conductor sent me this great footage of Rudolf Kempe conducting an excerpt of the fourth movement of Dvorak’s New World Symphony at the Proms. I think it’s an electrfying performance and Kempe finds an excellent tempo! (Not too frantic, and not too sluggish, in my opinion.)
